This blog series is a heart-to-heart. A reflection of the love and guidance I’ve received. It is, in its simplest form, an expression of my gratitude to God for blessing me with my Beloved Murshid, Khwajah Shamsuddin Azeemi (RA).
My Beloved Murshid (RA), whose life’s mission has always been to guide humanity to Allah ﷻ, has touched millions of people around the world in countless ways through his knowledge, his presence, and his service.
With whatever limited knowledge I have—by his grace—of the vast treasures he continues to share, this series offers a small taste, a glimpse of the flavour, of the treasures of Knowledge and Divine Light he has blessed this world with through his Nisbah to his Beloved Murshid, Qalander Baba Auliya (RA), to Rasool Allah ﷺ, and ultimately to Allah ﷻ.
This reflection is seen in the way he lived, the way he served, and in the many books, articles, and lectures that form part of his living legacy—a gift to humanity, and a Light that continues to illuminate hearts.
I pray this series ignites something within you—something that leads you to explore and discover the True Treasure that Allah ﷻ has bestowed upon us through him: to rebreathe the Reality of Islam as a modern-day seeker, and to reconnect with the timeless Spiritual Teachings of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammed ﷺ and The Holy Quran.
اتقوا فراسة المؤمن؛ فإنه ينظر بنور الله.
مومن کی فراست سے ڈرو، کیونکہ وہ اللہ کے نور سے دیکھتا ہے.
Be conscious of the insight of the believer, for he sees with the Noor of Allah.
-The Messenger of Allah ﷺ
This series is dedicated, first and foremost, to Khwajah Shamsuddin Azeemi (RA). After he departed his temporary body, he continued to bring me solace during days and nights of longing—through his company, the company of his Teachings, and the company of The Holy Quran.
This series is also dedicated to humanity as a whole—not to any specific gender, race, sect, doctrine, or religion.
Regardless of what may appear to be differences, we are all the magnificent creation—the best and finest of Allah ﷻ’s Handiwork—all from the same Source.
Whatever our backgrounds, religion, class, gender, lineage, or anything else that gives us an identity on this earth, we are, in truth, one and the same: connected by The Divine Breath of Allah, God, Bhagwan, Jah…
¹ A spiritual bond—an inner connection and inherited affiliation on the path of Sufism.

To befriend anyone, there must be a strong attraction. Strong relationships revolve around love. The deeper we go in love, the more we bond with the other.

What is the purpose of life? A question I have always wondered about for as long as I can remember—sometimes in the foreground, and sometimes buried in the background—but always there, quietly urging.
